ABOUT THE COURSE
Knowledge of Temporomandibular Joint and its applied anatomy is of utmost importance in treating jaw pain and dysfunction. The following workshop is centered around the concepts involved in external and intraoral treatment of TMJ issues: anatomy and mechanics of the TMJ and associated structures, palpation of anatomical structures relevant to treatment, identify common TMJ conditions, subjective and objective assessment of TMJ and relevant structures, manual therapy – external and intraoral massage techniques, joint mobilizations, remedial exercise and post treatment care.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Mark Chee-Aloy, BA(sp.Hon), RMT, RKin
Mark Chee-Aloy is a registered kinesiologist, registered massage therapist, and personal trainer. He is the owner of ConEd Institute in Toronto, which is a continuing education company for manual therapists that offers over 20 courses.
Mark has the ambitious goal of making ConEd Institute the primary continuing education provider for Massage Therapists, Manual Therapists, Kinesiologists, and Personal Trainers by offering a variety of unique educational opportunities to enhance the knowledge and skills of all our participants. Mark’s educational style challenges formal models of education, eliminates hierarchy, opens minds and demands that you question and think deeply.

Mark is also one of the hosts of the podcast 2 Massage Therapists and a Microphone where they discuss all things Massage Therapy, Health, Wellness, and Fitness. The goal in starting this podcast was to create a network to share knowledge, educate, and entertain the masses. Mark’s newest project with his team is Massage Therapy Media which is a digital resource for manual therapists offering on-demand video programming, publications, a digital magazine, and a host of member benefits.
